Last week’s professional learning day saw Riverside host teachers from 5 Science Program schools here for a day of learning from and with each other.  It was a great day, and a tremendous opportunity to build connections between our schools. 

You also should have received a notice from the CBE recently that our upcoming School Conferences must be moved online.  Please look to update messages from your child’s teacher(s) regarding how to sign up for conferences as the dates approach.  Unfortunately, there is not an option for in-person meetings to take place.

Texas Donut Fundraiser – Sailing Trip 

The Grade 9 Sailing Team is launching their much-anticipated Texas Donut Fundraiser! For Grades K-6 and ACCESS families, please keep an eye out for an order form in your child’s backpack. These need to be completed and returned with money no later than Friday March 14. For families with children in Grades 7-9, students can place and pay for their orders at tables set up around the school in the morning and at lunch. Donuts will be delivered the afternoon of Tuesday April 1.

Please register and join us April 3rd for our parenting with consequences seminar. This will be an in-person event for parents, guardians, and caregivers. Riverside School council and parent society receive a $500 grant each year to hold a parent seminar or info session. Previously we have run seminars on anxiety, resilience, screen time, internet safety, and so much more. We would love to hear your ideas!
