Update on Uniforms
- NEW (March 22, 2023) - A FAQ document has been added to this page, and will be updated regularly with further batches of questions. You can find this document in the "Resources" section.
- School Uniforms will be required for the 2023- 2024 school year and beyond. Information was sent home January 20, 2023 to let families know of next steps.
- We are pleased to let you know we have worked collaboratively with CBE purchasing/procurement department and we are in the final stages of completing the contract with a vendor for school uniforms:
- The uniform will consist of a top (T-shirts, golf shirts, hoodies, sweat tops, crewneck sweatshirts) and proudly show the new school logo on the left chest.
- To keep our costs as low as possible we have opted to stay with the navy-blue color as it is most readily available. This will give students an opportunity to continue wearing existing Riverside tops already purchased.
- While pants will not be part of the uniform, parents may choose to have their child wear khaki’s if they wish.
- The vendor selected by the CBE will provide pricing and service levels aligned with all other CBE programs that utilize school uniforms.
- The online store will offer assorted brands at a variety of prices.
- Students will be required to wear the uniform Monday - Thursday with “free dress” Friday
- In the spring, we will invite families to donate Riverside clothing they no longer need so we can outfit families in need.
- Once the vendor has the online ordering site up and running, we will send a notice to families so they can place orders.
