Another amazing school year is coming to an end.  This is a time of reflection and celebration, while also recognizing that we are saying ‘farewell’ to valued members of our school community, both on our staff and in our student population.  It’s the people who are part of our community that make Riverside such an amazing place of learning.  If you are leaving Riverside School at the end of this year, we wish you the very best wherever your journey takes you next.

Our main office (and school) will close for the summer at noon on Tuesday, June 30.  Staff will be enjoying a well-deserved break and will respond to any queries you might send over the summer months when they return in late August.  The office will reopen at 9:00 on August 26.

On behalf of our entire staff, thank you for a wonderful school year.  Our students benefit greatly from the partnership between home and school.  We also wish your families a restful, enjoyable, and safe summer!

Report cards

Parents and guardians, please note that end-of-year report cards will be published tomorrow, and will be available for viewing through your MyCBE/PowerSchool account.  If you have questions about the information presented in the report card, please contact your child’s teacher directly via email.

Riverside School summer newsletter

We have prepared a short newsletter with items of interest prior to our return to school in August.  You can find this summer newsletter on the Riverside website, or by clicking here.  We’ve tried to anticipate questions that might come up in the weeks prior to the main office reopening.  We hope you find the newsletter helpful!  Your feedback is appreciated.

Thank you to all our volunteers!

With almost 1000 volunteer opportunities at Riverside School this year, we could not have made these experiences possible without our amazing parent volunteers! For each time you volunteered this year, your name was placed into a draw. The following are our four winners:

Norah F. (Eloise, Mr. Norman’s Class)

Scott H. (Miller, Mrs. Copot’s Class)

Elizabeth (Sawyer, Ms. Berg’s Class)

Saadia L (Ali, Ms. Warne’s Class)

Thank you for your continued support in making Riverside such a special place to learn!

Your prize will be sent home with your student on Thursday, June 25th

Wishing all Riverside students and families an amazing summer full of fun!

Steve Radder, Principal
