While it may not exactly feel like it – spring has arrived and that means that our staff and students are returning to the routine of field study and community-based learning.  It’s a time of great energy in the school, from Kindergarten (an exploration of our community and it’s playgrounds) to Grade 9 (West Coast Sailing Trip) taking place this week.   

 A big ‘thank you’ to our School Board Trustee Susan Vukadinovic for attending our March School Council meeting.  We had a robust conversation and are thankful for her support of our school community.  Another ‘thank you’ to our School Council and Parent Society for approving funding for new logos and artwortk for the Gymnasium.  This important work continues to to strengthen our school identity, and has created another space we can all be very proud of! 

School Council and Parent Society updates 

Our March School Council and Parent Society meeting will take place at 7:00PM on Thursday, April 16 in our Learning Commons.   

Attending School Council and Parent Society meetings is a great way to get involved in our school community, have a say in our programming, and partner with staff to make our school even greater than it already is!  Joining these meetings does not obligate you to volunteer or take on additional work.  If you’ve never joined us, please feel very welcome to join. 

Yearbook updates
